12/14/2011-  Well we are getting closer to the end of a year that has seen some big changes in my life.  I am really enjoying the new place we moved into and the horses are liking being out in their big pastures.  I just got to bring my mare Star out and that is exciting since she hasn’t got to be MY horse since the summer of 2010.  She has been busy teaching other people about horsemanship.  I can hardly contain my excitement to have her home with me and I really look forward to advancing her with all that I have learned in the last few years.  She is a special horse to me and its going to be great to have her home with Newton and I.

I have been having some regular lessons with some students and it is great to see their progress as they get consistent time and coaching.  It is fun to see their amazement at how deep this horsemanship stuff goes and I have to remember to not boil their brain only slightly wrinkle it.  Next year is shaping up with events and I continue to come up with ideas and opportunities to fill the schedule.  Don’t forget if you want to have me come to your area you just need to ask and I can get you started with organizing a visit.

One of the projects I have been putting time into is a promotional DVD of myself to give out to hopefully peek interest in new areas and give people a feel for who I am and what I have to offer.  If you want to get your hands on some to pass out or show your friends and family about that cowboy you have been learning from let me know.

With Christmas around the corner I have been getting together presents for friends and family.  One of the things on the list is hats and shirts with the Pear Tree Ranch logo and if there is enough interest I will have some to sell next year.
